Risk-ranked priority queue

Mission Control

Every assignment ranked by urgency and grade impact, so you know exactly what to do next

Mission Control is the ClassOS deadline prioritization engine. It looks at every upcoming assignment and ranks them by how urgent they are and how much they matter for your grade.

How the queue ranks your week
URGENT
HIGH
MODERATE
STABLE

Ranked by what is due and by what it is worth.

Why this matters

Sunday night, everything due at once

It is Sunday, the week ahead has work in every course, and the thing you start with is the thing that feels loudest rather than the thing that moves your grade. Mission Control ranks the whole week by urgency and by how much each item is actually worth, so the top of the list is the right place to spend your next hour.

How it works

  1. 1

ClassOS pulls all your Canvas assignments

Every assignment across every course is imported automatically. Due dates, point values, submission status: all synced from Canvas.

  2. 2

    The risk engine ranks everything

ClassOS combines time-to-deadline with point weight to generate a risk score. A 200-point exam tomorrow ranks higher than a 10-point quiz next week.

  3. 3

Work the queue, top to bottom

Start with URGENT, then HIGH. Scout can generate a study strategy for any item in the queue. Check things off as you complete them.

Common questions

How does the risk score work?

Risk is calculated from time remaining (urgency) × assignment point weight × course grade impact. Items past due are always URGENT.

Can I add my own deadlines that aren't in Canvas?

Yes. The Objectives panel lets you add custom deadlines that appear alongside Canvas assignments.

Does it show assignments I've already submitted?

Submitted assignments are marked and de-prioritized. The queue focuses on what still needs your attention.
