Do I get to try Scout before paying?
Yes. Every new account gets 50 Scout messages over its first 7 days, enough for a full week of real deadlines. After that, free accounts get 10 a month. No card needed for any of it.
What's the difference between Pro and Scout?
Pro is your grades: GPA Simulator, Finals Calculator, grade forecasting, and 150 Scout messages a month. Scout is your study partner: everything in Pro plus Study Mode, practice questions, generated study guides, and 500 messages a month.
What happens when I hit my message limit?
Nothing breaks. Scout pauses until your next monthly reset, and every other part of ClassOS (grades, deadlines, alerts, GPA) keeps running.
Is annual actually cheaper?
Yes. $44.99 a year is $3.75 a month and saves you $14.89 versus paying monthly.
What Canvas schools are supported?
Any university running Canvas LMS. If your school uses Canvas, ClassOS works. Paste your Canvas API token and you're in.
Is my Canvas data secure?
Yes. Your Canvas token is encrypted before storage. ClassOS reads your Canvas data. The only thing it can ever write is a submission you start yourself. We never share your data and only store what's needed to power the dashboard.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings at any time. Your Pro or Scout features remain active until the end of the billing period.
Can my parents see my grades?
Only if you share with them. The Parent Link feature lets you generate a read-only link with no login required. Share it, or don't.
